Speaker - On Tour

I was nineteen when I stood on a stage for the first time. Back then, I showed pictures of my bike tour through New Zealand on a big screen and talked about my experiences. I have now given over 2,000 live reports and keynotes. My themes as a photographer are the beauty of nature and the diversity of cultures. My theme as an activist is the fervent desire to preserve this beauty and diversity. I appear in front of 1,700 people at large festivals or in front of 25 employees as part of sustainability days. I open trade fairs with keynotes on the climate crisis - and I visit schools to teach young people the truth about the state of our world. I always try not only to educate, but also to give hope.

Modern online communication creates space for exchange - across continents and on many levels.

I bring my presentations and keynotes directly to you via livestream - regardless of where you or your audience are in the world.

Although my English is not flawless, I convey my content authentically, emotionally and comprehensibly - even across language barriers.

I can flexibly adapt the length of my presentations to your needs - whether short and concise or detailed and in-depth.

Photographer - Worldwide on Location

Photography is my core business - and my great passion. Especially when I'm out and about with my camera in remote wilderness areas. It's like soul food for me.

I've had the privilege of pressing the shutter release on every continent - there's hardly a corner of this earth that I haven't seen through my lens.

Over time, I have developed my own visual language, which often gives my photographs a recognizable, artistic touch.

Good photography can develop a power that touches people deeply.

My many years of experience in working with indigenous communities and my assignments in crisis regions also make me a reliable and reliable photographer for sensitive projects.

Which reportage can I realize for you?

Producer - Docs, Books & Liveshows

Creativity knows no boundaries - and I have never drawn any. At least not in visual storytelling.

In addition to my work as a photographer, I have developed 16 live reportages, published 14 books and directed two documentaries - with another one waiting to be completed.

I love photography for its ability to capture the moment - and the moving image for its narrative depth.

Whether on stage, in a book, in a film or in a campaign: I think in images, work with passion and tell stories that touch, shake up and inspire.

I work with publishers, creative agencies, NGOs and companies that are committed to sustainability, cultural diversity or the beauty of our world - and I love projects that make an impact.

Environmentalist - Showing attitude

We are living in times in which everything I have fought for all my life is in danger of disappearing.

The climate catastrophe is progressing unchecked towards numerous tipping points, every year we lose countless species, fertile soils, functioning ecosystems and vital water cycles.

At the same time, global arms spending is rising and conflicts are increasingly being fought out with physical and verbal violence. Right-wing nationalist ideologies are gaining ground - fueled by autocrats, oligarchs and enemies of democracy. Half-truths, lies and hate speech are poisoning the social climate and dividing us, while we should actually be focusing on the essentials:

A fair, liveable world for all. My actions are based on the deep conviction that humanism is possible.

That we as a society are capable of sustainable action - if we choose the path of empathy, responsibility and love instead of giving in to greed, fear and exclusion.
